We Are Two Abysses

Carlos, a man suspended at a certain moment of his life, finds a confidante in a filmmaker through the confinement of his small house in the mountains of Portugal. Her presence disrupts the order of his isolated existence, marked by longing for his late wife, to whom he writes countless, timeless love letters. As the relationship between the two evolves, we glimpse ever more closely the state of the man’s mind.
