71 films from 20 different countries were submitted. Across two days of sessions, the festival filled the rooms. A partnership with the production company Persona Non Grata brought Pedro Flores’s “Vazante” and António Ferreira’s “Deus Não Quis” into the programme. Films competed in three different categories, awarding the best of the selection: the National Teardrop, the International Teardrop, and an Honourable Mention.

The team was made up of volunteers and friends who made it possible for the still-growing festival to happen.
